Although we have staff patrolling the forum at any given moment in time, we are not always able to catch things that are against the rules and regulations. We work hard behind the scenes to maintain a pleasant atmosphere and level of enjoyment for everyone, but a handful of moderators governing tens of thousands of members is an uphill battle for us. This is why we need help from our community as well. If you spot something, such as harassment of another member, spammed advertisements or anything else that does not fit the standard of this forum, please do not take matters into your own hands. Instead, report the issue to us. This can be done in any of the following ways:
1) Post report button:
- Using this method alerts the moderators of any offending post within a thread. It provides a link to the actual post
and makes it easier for us to take care of the matter in an expeditious fashion.
2) PM report button:
- Not commonly known by members, private messages can be reported as well. This is done via using the report PM button (same icon as the report post button), but is found within the private message in question. Like reporting a post, moderators will be alerted to the issue and necessary action will be taken.
Do not be afraid to utilize the methods outlined above. All information will be kept confidential by the staff. Contact with the offending parties will be made and necessary action will be taken. If the staff needs additional information from the person reporting the offensive action, they will be contacted directly by the staff via PM.
