It has been a while since I did an update on the "Shark" tank. Hope you enjoy.

Geez, them are awesome fish!! Hey, I picked up some fish called 'arrow sharks'...I can't find any info on them...but they look pretty much like this, can you help me out??? They look like this, maybe a little more slender, and not as prominant blotch at the base of the tail at the moment. They have the spotted stripes running down the bodies though. I got three of them, but there are only two left. They are only about 3" right now, so not quite as stocky as the one in this picture. More slender actually, but they are starting to get deeper bodied. Any thoughts?

that black shark needs a bigger tank!

Indeed. Unfortunately a 6x2x2 is the largest tank I can get in my house. Having owned the black shark for over 10 years I am not going to get rid of her. However, I am selling up and moving to the GF's place in the next 6 months, so a 9'x2.5'x3' is ear marked for there.

Thanks.

Is the dorsal that shape or longer along the top of its body? If it is longer, then try looking at the Osteochilus hasseltii, or the Labiobarbus family like lineatus, or for shorter dorsals maybe the Cyclocheilichthys family.

They all look great man!! always lookin healthy and clean!

The dorsla fin is longer, kinda like a red tailed sharks....I'll have to put some actually pictures of them on here. I have some of them in the bag still, but they aren't very helpful. Its hard to get in the tank shots, the lighting on the tank is low, and the water is kinda cloudy, plus they are skittish. I'll try though, want to see what they are! Thankz!! :D
