:iagree:

Not a tetra but a rainbowfish.:)

looks awesome

i think i have two of those!! my gf bought them for the planted tank i was wondering what they were...:D i like their super high fins they looked kind of wierd bc their fins are on the back half of the body ..

There is a really nice red-fin variety of the Pacific Blue eye (google search) although the other species in the group are also nice. Have a look at Honey Blue Eyes for example http://www.australianrainbowfish.com/australian_fish/aus_blue_eyes_menu.htm?aus_blue_eyes_names.htm~leftFrame

or Popondetta - Pseudomugil furcatus http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Furcatus.htm

But if you really like fins then try Threadfin rainbow fish, Iriatherina werneri
http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Werneri.htm

They are all very peaceful and not too hard to breed.

wow i never thought i'd say this but i would really like to own a couple of those tetras!?!?.......................:D
