I have some type or baby parachromis, i think its either a jag or a wolf. how do i tell which one it is...it is about two inches long. hopefully there is someway to tell the difference...if i need to post a pic let me know. thanks

i bought this as a supposed managuense, but as i looked here at different pics of dovii i thought it looked more like them then a jag. i cant post a pic because my camera is broke...ill see if i can borrow someones, however it deff is long an slender and has the line from eye to tail...the head kinda slopes down where i thought that the jags head would be flared out a little...i can compare it to almost a goldfish body as compared to a jags that should be a little more broad almost like a flowerhorn or something...thanks and ill try to get a pic posted...if anyone has anymore help..id appreciate it.

here is some pics of some jag babies i had a few years ago. they are about 1.5 inches in the pictures

and here is a short video that shows my dovii when it was maybe 2 inches. they are very easy to tell apart at the 2 inch mark once you know what they both look like at that size. hope this helped

Thanks at2...im pretty sure its a dovii now...ill def get a pic to post just to make sure u think thats what it is as well.....i really appreciate it.

Yea, here are two small dovii.. Does yours have vertical lines all the way around or just the horizontal line?

just one horizontal line...but i can see the start of the "15" dovii dotted lines starting on yours....mine doesnt have that...its just plain...ill post a pic...but mines nose is a little different...thats the only thing that looks different then the one on the left in that last pic....ill post a pick here in a little. thanks

Yea hard to tell from that pic but it doesn't really look like a dovii to me. Can you get the camera up to the glass and take a pic?
