I just got to thinkin, anyone know what NA natives sell for in Europe? I know there is a market for some sunnies, minnows, and darters. Just curious since I got to thinkin about what exotics sell for here, and over there our standard fare is exotic. I could google all this, I know, but I want firsthand accounts. Also, what NA fish are popular over there?

I don't live in Europe but I think in most countries over there NA natives are illegal due to possable wild introductions. Some already can be found in Europe such as black bullhead and pumpkinseed and they have reached invasive status.

Hmmm, that's funny because I know I've seen a Dutch or German tank with longears in it. But hey, I've seen stingrays and Pirhana in Texas, too.

How about Japan? anyone into NA fish over there?

I have no clue of the legality but I understand US natives are treated as any tropical. Asia and Europe indeed maintain excellent US natives. To be honest they treat our natives with the respect they deserve, like gold.

Respect.

I've read that longear are popular in germany, but I don't know much in general about europeans keeping our natives.

I have the book "Guide to Freshwater Fish of Britain and Europe", and it says:
Black Bullhead
Brown Bullhead
Channel Catfish
Pink Salmon
Chum Salmon
Coho Salmon
Rainbow Trout
Brook Trout
Lake Trout
Rockbass
Redbreast Sunfish
Green Sunfish
Pumpkinseed Sunfish
Smallmouth Bass
Largemouth Bass
These fish have been established in Europe, in one or more countries.

This is a great book and I highly recomend it.

The only NA fish I have seen, for sale, is the Texas Cichlid.

I lived in Germany for 3 years and did some fishing. I have caught pumpkinseed and SMB. I have heard of people catching black and brown bullheads, but their possesion is restricted. I caught some carp but have no idea if they were native or introduced. I tried for 3 years off and on to land a wels catfish but never succeeded.

This picture of the 'Brown Bullhead' is of a 20" individual owned and coveted by coldwater catfish enthusiast, John Henderson of the Northern Area Catfish Group of Great Britain, now renamed The Catfish Study Group (UK). This fish has won numerous awards in the coldwater catfish section.

There is now moves afoot by the U.K. Government through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAAF) to impose restrictions on some coldwater species like the above mentioned Brown Bullhead, due to the dangers of introduction to native waters and the threat to its occupants through disease and predation. In other words you could be paying up to £30 for a license to keep them.
