Id go with peacock bass, large mouth bass, gar, and knowing me, Id even through in some cichlids that can hold their own. (red terror, jack dempsey, oscar)
do something diffrent, mix em up, people say you cant, Ive mixed up fish before and its worked for me

you may also consider a stock tank too, they are fairly cheap

most definetely. The way we built the plywood tank (me and my old man), was making a plywood frame. it's something like 8' x 4' x 24". Simply make a supporting frame, then outline the inside of the frame with pond liner, and bam. You've got yourself a plywood tank cheap.

cool!! nice pics!
the problem is i have been begging my dad to help me build a saltwater plywood tank for about a mouth and finally he let me, but i changed my mind and decieded to do a 90 reef.
so he is not goin to let me build a pond, but he prob will just let me get on of those pre made plastic ones, what fish do u have in ur pond?
anyone got any pics of there indoor ponds?

ok.......thanks for all the info guys, i think ihave made a diesison, i know that i want to get some peacock bass, and some gars, but what kinda catfish should i get?
Rubbermaid makes a 300g round stock tank for $199. Personally I would go with smaller fish, sunnies, yellow perch, and bullheads.

A 300g freestanding tank (depending on maker) is betweem 1 1/2' and 2' deep and 69" to 72" wide. That means tou could keep a catfish up to 3 1/2' long, there are several nice ones, one of my favorites is the tandan or eeltail catfish (36"), american white catfish (38"), or a pair of african silver cats (24"). You would even have room for a couple of oscar sized fish as well.

Lima shovelnose, tigrinus cats, maybe a pair, but for the TSN it would be a bit small once the fish passes 3', IMO 8'x 12' is minimum for a full grown TSN. How about a Lima and a big panque or armored cat? Member Tim has a picture posted in another thread of a great P. niger cat at 28".
