its like this it has the genetics of two fish that can reach. Anywhere from 3 to 5 foot pluss in lenth. I just watched them catch 5 foot pluss shoevelnose on tv yesterday so dont say they dont get that big anyone. Anyways. If it has genetics of two monstar ass fish . The hybrid has the possibility to exced both there maxs in my opp.

I don't know if the hybrid will eventually outgrow both its parents,, but it(rtcxtsn) sure didn't grow as fast as the RTC. Mine is currently about 20"

mine isnt growing as fast as my tsn did either. But im goping by what the parents are.
I know you are talking about crossed cats. I'm just using the rtcxtsn as an example.
There are no evidence of the hybrid catfishes (regardless of what the parental fishes are) growing bigger than it's parents. You simply can't say because the two species grow big, the mix offsprings of these two species will grow even bigger.

I know this was a long time ago when you guys were debating this, just thought I could put my two cents in on it. Not sure if it's the same with fish, but with reptiles, birds, especially mammals, if you breed them the right way the hybrids allways grow larger than their parental units. Look at the liger, tiger mixed with a lion. Lion mother and tiger father. Mix it the other way and you get a tiglion. The liger is the genetically superior of the two. It can get to over 1000 lbs. easily larger than even the largest siberian tiger at 750 lbs. If you get a tiglion they are genetically inferior. It will only get about half the size of the parents, and will have many allergies, and quite possibly mental abnormalities also. Don't know if it works on fish, but I know that when you mix blue catfish x channel catfish, the offspring you get grow faster and get larger than even the blue catfish. Might not work with all fish though. What do you guys think?

check out some of the trust' pics in his gallery. You will find several hybrids there including the one you want to see. I have also seen some awesome pics in other memebers galleries.
