I will be in Southwest Florida next week for the holiday and was wondering if ayone knew of any good spots to catch some exotic freshwater fish - Pacu's, large cichlids, good size bass even - but I would love to hookup with a pacu. Any help greatly apprecaited.

Get a nice sharp treble hook bait that puppy up with some good ole quality moss/algae from the lake you are fishing.. Cast that baby out there. You're bound to catch a 10 pounder..

What the F**K? Look at the pic you use as a avatar, and your calling a Troll? dude I'm just looking for a new spot and possiblly an exchange of hot shops in FL. In the development where my place is I have caught everything from Bass too Plecos. I'm keep seeking a new spot. Calling me a Troll is just a stupid thing to do. I don't live in the State of Florida and never claimed too either. Though I do have a house there, some of us have second and third houses. Summer places that we stay at from time too time, sorry if thats not the case for you. South Florida does have exotics and most of them I have seen if not caught myself. I just would like to connect with others out there that know where there is good hotspots out there. A normal trip to Florida for me is a 50-60 plus fish per day aveage. I have been on lake where between two people 70-100, 3-5lbs fish per 5-6 hrs isn't unheard of. So far the largest to be landed is 8.3lbs. I just wanted to know if anyone elae wanted to share some info.
