I bet those are wild caught. They look too good to have been raised by such a lame fish keeper. BTW, I like how he has razor sharp shells and a nemo toy as substrate

interesting thing about these fish is that they may be food fish...the restaurant appears to be in "Jonuta", which is in/near Tabasco Mexico. in this area of the country, tropical gars are a major food fish (as popular as salmon in the pacific northwest of the US).

these t-gars could be from a farm or wild-caught, but they may be for human consumption, hence the smaller tank. great looking tropicals, that's for sure--
