still the hundred... i knwo it's small but it can house him for quite a few month... if i dont get that MASSIVE tank... then he'll sadly go to the pond... but rest assured, he'll be taken care of... :)
not surprising....mine's gone triple in three weeks....:)

he's about 22 cm, i bought him at 7 cm....
goldfish, blood worm, million fish....he could choose.....
I put him together with 2 little oscars......now he's moved to "senior" predator tank, only feed him dead fish now for cost efficiency, i'm not rich guy.... :)
FYI blood worm is #1 growth booster......

i'm from the philippines:) do you still use heaters? i dont use heaters..... coz i cant find ones here!@_@
no, tropical country like ours usually do not need heater...
after all gar is really strong fish, when i put him in oscar tank i dont even use filter in order for the blood worm not to get sucked...
my water temp is 28C. my PH is 6
i am an amateur, not using many advanced technique or equipment...

man thats dangerous... maybe u should simply turn off ur filter if u dont want it to suck the worms.... the waste of those fishes are really huge thus requiring a efficient filter. :) polyptrus, kara and jordan know tons of things about gars dude. they'll help a lot!:)
