Yeah, CDMs pics never cease to amaze me. They should name a digital camera after him, the "CDM 500"

Is the yellow outline around the stripes caused by the camera or is that normal? My delhzi does not have that yellow around the stripes. Maybe its an age thing?

Thanks guys for the nice words.

The greenish area surrounding the black stripes are real (not the effects from camera).
These kind of delhezi is hard to find these yrs in TW. Most del we saw were with fuzzy stripes. I used to have one 4yrs ago, but it died due to jump out. After a long searching, I got this pcs last yr.

As for photography, it's indeed that both camera and shooter contribute to the quality of photos. For the photographer part, it's not about gift, it's about experience. I took some hundreds shots weekly since 3 yrs ago.

Btw, yo Astro, where's you favorite del?

Beautiful quality speciman, CDM! :) Very clean Delhezi.
Nice, evenly defined, bold, thick banding pattern... and greenish/yellow outlining the edges... "Show" piece poly! Awesome pick-up!

Bad pics, maybe i'll try a better digi cam.
CDM, this is my fave del.

Similar yellow around each band, as well as green. I have another that is much lighter and yellower.

This is the other one, much lighter in color, but more dark bands on its body.

BTW, CDM, i notice you have a layer of small round gravel over larger gravel.
How do you manage to keep it so neat? Gravel vacuuming does not mix it up?

Unfortunately we haven't been able to get in the vividly marked P. delhezi in the Dallas, Texas area for a LONG time. The ones that you two have are downright gorgeous!

This is my favorite P. delhezi of the ones I have at the moment:

Those are some Show Quality Bichirs. Their fins look really good. A lot of the Bichirs that I see in the stores have mal formed dorsel spines. But yours aare definatly well cared for.
