Great small Snakehead, 6" although have seen quotes of 8", not sure if they are true or not.

Very easy to feed, will eat anything, I feed mine pellets, Frozon blood worm, Shrimp, and pieces of whitebait. Live shrimp and worms, they can fit quite alot in there little bellies, He also takes flakes I put in for the Botia's I have in with him.
Yes a Snakehead eating flakes. Some of the shrimp he eats are half his size.

You can keep more than one, they are reasonably peaceful, depends on the size of tank of course.

Get some!

We have seen these in our LFS, they are for sale at £12.95.
They can be kept in groups together, unlike most other snakeheads. Feeding has already been said but we also chop mussel, cockle and prawn into tiny pieces for our smaller snakeheads and they grow at a fast rate.

One of the most beautiful dwarf channa species available. :) Jelly and Dixon already have you squared away i see... just keep doing what your doing. Quite hardy fish after acclimated and settled. Be sure not to keep any tankmates that will pick on them or stress them. Also, if you happen to be using a HOB power filter on their tank, be sure to cover up or tighten the intake piece nice and snug. They will either get sucked in or attempt to escape thru them.

Had it happen to me twice with my bleheri... the first time I was able to save, but the second time i didn't have the same luck! :( GL and happy keeping. Enjoy!

Depending on there size they might be mating....keep a close eye on them, the eggs will probly float so watch u don't scoop them out...When the eggs hatch leave the spawn in the tank, unlike other fish spiecies bleheri snakeheads do not eat there young and the young have a better chance of surviving with the parents, the parents give off a mucus that the babies will need to feed on.
