I just purchased 2 kribs today,,,the male seems to have claimed a hollow log, and keeps chasing the female ,,,,I always thought it was the other way around,,,,any way hopefully they will settle in and spawn,,,,i've heard that they are easy to procreate,,,, :)

usually if you want to mate them it is better to get 3 to 4 females per male and let them chose. more than likely the male isn't feeling the female. get a few more females and some shells. They are shell dwellers and will lay eggs in them.

shell dwellers?? not... african river/stream living, atleast thatīs what i thought, however they love flowerpots and such for breeding but they accept most hollows in stone or wood...
ramman, let them settle for a while, feed them some live foods and I can almost guarantee they will breed!
