Loaches love a salad before dinner!
I wonder if iceberg lettuce has any nutritional value?

Lettuce is 96% water. The other 4% are mostly carbs and protein. There is a tiny amount of vitamins A,K,and C. And ruf***e scrapes the walls of the intestines and that is good. Nice loaches :)

No tomato. Just went with the salad theme. LOL Although they do love cucumber and zucchini.

No really - switch to Romaine lettuce, much healthier for fishies and people.

That's what I was thinking. Actually has some B vitamins in it.

Anyone know if cucumber has any nutritional value for clowns? I'm guessing it's a lot of water too.
At any rate I dropped a slice in last night and they didn't seem too interested, so I shut the lights off and and went to sleep. Came back this morning and they ate the whole center out!! Apparently they dont like the edges but they sure loved the middle! lol

They'll never eat the edge. Just trim it off and they'll wolf down the whole lot.

I ordered me up 4 of these for my tanks. I'm tired of rubber banding my zucchini to a rock.

Supposedly you can find em on ebay sometimes. I just ordered mine from the site even though it is over seas. My loaches don't seem to be interested in any veggies yet, prolly cause they clean up with my other fish miss.

Yeah, where did this thread come from? LOL
