new gars

at last i am getting gars on this monday:nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly:

here is the question how many should i get 2 or 4

anyways i already have 1x 7-8" jar,2x 6-7" TSNs and 2x 4-5" RTCs in a 180g
the cats will go to the pond once they reach 10"(shall start working on it in another 4-5 months time)

i shall post snaps once i get them

and yes i don't know as of now what kind of gars i might get (lfs was telling they might be spotted or florida spotted)

waiting for the gars as well as your advice and comments with anxiety

it doesnt matter how many you get.
but tank size matters of course.
youre probably going to need a bigger tank for all those fish plus the gars.
thye arent aggressive towards one another.
so even 2 would work. :)
they grow quite fast when young.
mine grew about 1 inch a mth when they were young.

at last i got them they are nearly 3-4"
ok i got 4 of them and they have already started eating dried shrimp shall try to get them on pellets soon, they all are in 24g Q tank before they go into the 90g cube(actually pretty close to being a cube) which is right now getting cycled
two of my gars have a little bent snouts will they get alright or will it be for life
one thing now i need is the ID of the gars

those are Florida/spotted gars..not sure if there bent snout will get back to normal or not...Solomon might know?

Ya the 2nd 2 r bent.. I don't they it would heal.. But ud never know..

florida/spotted gars.
i highly doubt the snouts will heal.
theyre probably a few mths old.
