Hey Guys,

Need to transport a big pangasius cat, he's around 14" long...

Having to rely on a courier/delivery service.

Journey is about 3 hours...

Will the pangasius be ok? He's very healthy at the moment, and has no past illness.

Is it fine to do this? Or is it asking for trouble?

I don't like the idea of fish in bag/box etc for that long, but then I know some fish make it all the way from Africa/Brazil etc etc.

Can you guys let me know your thoughts on it.

Thanks.

Mac

Do you have to use a courier service?

If you can drive the fish to it's destination, I recommend a five gallon bucket with holes in the top for air!

If you must use a courier service, get some pure oxygen and fill up your bag this will last longer than just a plain bagging air!GL!!!!

Decided against it, I don't drive myself and courier by what you guys said wouldn't be 100% safe.

Rather let the big guy go to someone local to his current keeper. I would feel so abd if he died on route to me.

Thanks guys

If you don't feed it for a couple of days, get a cooler and attach a battery powered air pump to it, it'll be fine. It might even be ok without the air pump for 3 hours.
