I got an armatus today, thanks John! But now I have a problem. My ray tried to eat it, and now the Armatus left side is all torn up, scales are missing. I separated it. What can I do now to help it heal? Thanks for your help in advance.

Up the water temp, add salt, melafix, and pima fix. GL.

i would use salt only. dim the lights. vamps do not work well with chemicals. mela is prob ok though.

Sup Eric, No pictures of the Armatus yet since the lights are dim, and letting it rest. I'm working on the tank.. turns out my cousin works with acrylics so I'm trying to see if he can make me a 10'x5'x3', but first I want to see how much it'll cost. If its too expensive I'm going with 600. 8'x4'x3'. Its going to be half the price of the 450 I ordered but canceled.

Nice! I plan to put a 10'x5'x4' (just over 1100gls) in the wall God Willing late next yr for my little beasts. First I have to remodel the house then comes the tank :)
