Some Skunks

After readin all about loach posts on this site, i couldn't help but buy some for myself. The smae 5 have been at that pet store for a year now and I finaly brought them home. Their 1-2 inches long and are great little fish. Their with my Silver Dollars and Tiger Barbs at the moment but I will be moving my barbs into a 20g. Heres some pictures of everyone, for everyone!:)

I love the skunk loaches, not as big as clowns but similar goofy habits.

I just picked up another Skunk today. To my knowledge their schoaling fish ut they all seem to keep a teritory and chase off any intruders, making a funny "cracking" noise too.

I forgot my camera at my friends place, I will get pics later.

Skunk loaches are awesome. They're so fun to watch!

One of the loaches I would never wish to keep. Their aggression pretty limits my choices.

I agree with Lupin, skunks can be pretty aggressive.

I have three skunks that now share a tank of their own, because any tank I try to put them into they shred the fins of the other occupants. I've even watched them go after my other loaches.

But they are cute and fun to watch, even if they are little demons!

That's funny, my LFS has a tank full of these too. Probably 6 or 7 of the little guys, they've been there for months. Every time I walk by I think about picking them up... LOL. Nice pickup, let us know how they work out for you.

I have an Aquaclear 70 on that tank. Its rated for 30-70 gallons. I think my tank is being well filtered thank you very much.

I thought Skunk loaches where suppost to love each other like clown loaches do. I have 6 in the tank now and on Friday I am suppost to get more so that they stop fighting. I guess the fighting will never end then eh? And I probably can't have Congo Tetras in their once the Silver Dollars are in their bigger tank?
