I have 6 marulioides, 20-25 cm, all of them white scale visible clearly. Why not like your fish? Normally how length of fish when flower will appear?
I used to have 1, flower start to appear when 30cm up. I think 6 band one side, 4 band anothers, but last week I move to other tank and it jump all night and die...

i email d mekong spec photo to them and they told me its thai marulia..just wait for the shipment. normally fish with that size really beginning to shown sign of visible " flowers " on d blotches..i wouldnt know y yours still invisible. cross your fingers
