Hey, I just had to add this...I was standing out in the susquehanna river today flyfishing and a 2' sucker swam within 2" of my leg! It looked blue~ish with a pinkish/white suckermouth. I have never seen one like it. has anyone ever seen these monsters? I doubt theyr'e native. Look kind of asian looking to me. Any feedback on this? I actually thought about diving on it and trying to capture it, but it looked like it could put up a heck of a big fight! Ha Ha, couldn't you just see a flyfisherman wrestling a sucker out on the river!!....Maybe I should have?...LOL, I would like to have taken a picture of it though.

I'm orig. from PA and I'd put money on it that it was just some type of carp....they all have some sort of sucker mouth and some look really screwed up.

went there. no such thing as a GRASS PERCH even listed, only regular yellow perch. don't think there is such a fish, must be a local name for the good ole yellow perch.
