1. the shell on my apple has started to deteriorate in the past month whats going on? he was kept in a healthy community 54g just moved him to a small tank for treatment if needed i need imput thanks people
2. would he be safe with a 11"SL oscar or will the oscar try to have him for lunch

do you have a source of calcium for it?
try adding a cuttle bone too a hospital tank for it.

i have some reef calcium on hand how much do you think per gallon and would this effect a german ram i have in there as well also will he shell regenerate or just stablize thx fnh...

some times i dont think when i'm concerned i already know the answer to the calicium question
did a search on snails though ,found that they don't repair the holes
so now my question is has any one found a good way to patch a wet snails shell without poisioning him my wife thanks you for any help it was her b-day present dont like em myself....
