A juvenile channa striata (common asian snakehead) found swimming in a drain (polluted with rubbish bags and food leftovers) beside a food stall

lol, makes me thinking back to the past, its like bout 15years ago, i used to NET channas wth my bro in the drain (juvenile channa striata). Somestimes, gourami and some common talapia can be found too.
Normally we catch lots of wild guppies to feed our Channa Striasta).
Unfortunately, mum scold us, and we releasa all the baby channa bck to the wild.
Kinda fun thinking back.

agree with vinson..channa were easily seen and caught in drain, stream etc last time ..and sad to say due to pollutions in their habitat, channa are rarely seen nowadays..
