I got some angelfish and they are about dime sized. They take flakes, but I want something to supplement their diet with. I wanted bloodworms or freeze dried bloodworms, but they seem too small, also I was thinking spiriluna brine shrimp, but I think the shrimp might be too big for their little mouths. I don't want to pollute the tank with excess food, so what would be a good choice?

hatch out your own brine shrimp, there's really nothing better for young angel fish, it developes their hunting skills and will make orange and red pigments a lot brighter.

Too bad it's such a pain separating egg shells from the actual shrimp, hehe.

Make sure you turn your filters off for about 15 minutes per feeding if you're going to use them...vinegar eels work too, but they're nasty as hell.

frozen bloodworms will do fine.

I always just ground flake food between my fingers in small amounts twice a day. Bloodworms are great too. I have guppy fry that try to suck them down. lol
