Very blurry but to me it looks like a Xingu I

thats not a belly crawler or Xingu....its not a lugubris species at all.....looks like some type of Saxatilis species, Frenata, Sveni (only kinda but probably not), maybe a lucius but that yellow on the gill is to bright.

If that was only just slightly a less blurry pic, we could be alot more accurate with our guessing....lol

Cmon Six I haven't even tried an Id ever and the blurry pic I try u shoot me down?!??!?! LOL! I saw the spot after I posted and second guessed the id. He also looked a little stouter also when I zoomed in. Is stouter a word?

On yea this is why I dont do id's.

OK DORSAL FIN IS RED SO IS HALF THE TAIL, the other half is orange with a eyespot on the tail, no scales and sometimes has markings on its head like a strigata

in still leaning towards some type of Saxatilis pike.

I would now say it's a lucius or something very similar due to makings and coloration. there are other guys on here better at ID'in sax pikes though, but that is 100 perfect what family this guy belongs to.
