I highly rate Hikari, don't use ti often as its hard to obtain and i buy my food in bulk too.

I use the Hikari 'algae wafers' and 'Betta bio-gold'...plus I make up my own from receipes I got from Betty at the GAB site'Mazuri' offers some great gel food too.

New Life Spectrum! It's the only food that made a noticeable improvement in color and stimulates the appetite so much that I have had four fish actually jump out of the tank in a feeding frenzy.

I have tried all the various types of Hikari and Omega One. No noticeable improvement in color and the fish show no excitement while feeding.

I now use NLS exclusively for all my fish (Tetras to Cichlids) in all my tanks.
