well he is almost 14 inches..i put him into the 125gal only in sept. he was 8 inches then.. so he is excellerated his growth from 8 inches to 14 inches 5 months.. is that a normal rate?

Ck is looking great. How is he doing with his tankmates? I had some trouble with mine and, unfortunately, had to get rid of him. Glad to see yours looking so healthy!

Is there alot of competition for food..is he afraid ? This guy had a great start in life because i kept him by himself in a tank and hand fed him..then when i moved him to the bigger tank he stayed inside his house because of the severum.. afraid ..but after a couple of days the boogie man fears dissapeared and he was back to eating good.. so maybe yours needs more food. When i have the light on in his tank at night he does not come out much..i feed frozen silversides at night every other night..so i take those thong things and hand him down his silversides.. he is spoiled.. haha but even though they are aggressive they are also timid at times so maybe yours is not eating enough .. just a thought! You don't want to feed to much but you don't want to feed to little either.

man they have a sale going on out here $1 a gallon for any tank under 90... andthing over 90 gallons... Its $2 a gallon... So a 210 is $420... I just have to convince some people in this house to let me get it

Thats as big as i can fit in that space ..like i had for pacu..but he is fine for awhile in the 125gal with just the severums and pleco.. he is outgrowing his house {log}though.

I'm probably going to sell my CK and GT just to free up some space for now, but then I'll be back with another CK. After all...they are my favorite fish!

I'm probably going to sell my CK and GT just to free up some space for now, but then I'll be back with another CK. After all...they are my favorite fish!

thats too bad you have to sell him but if they need bigger it is better.. i know you cannot be without a CK for long.

The best part about my knife is that he was free..I was at the lfs buying food and a guy came up to me and asked if i wanted some free fish.. This was one of them and ended he ended up giving away like 5 or 6 other large fish too..SCORE !!!!
