My bF and I thought it was a black nasty....
but these guys at the LFS told me it was a Midas.
You tell me.
I am usually wrong. :)

Looks hot to me....I usually have to buy anything I haven't seen yet just so I can find out and have something diff. But then you find a forum like this and......well....I think the only thing I have that seems diff. now is a pair of polleni

F****** AWSOME. Vitality had to piss all over me!! :cry: j/k I'm pretty sure mine are the small spot but one of them sometimes looks like he could be a magna.

Wish my LFSes carried that fish. I keep forgetting about that specie, but its definitely (yet another) specie I'd particularly like to own.
I hear the males rarely hit 12", can anyone confirm or deny? and does anyone know of a way to sex them?

That's a nice little facter there.
This was the most skittish fish EVER.
I felt so bad for him.
They had pellets in his tank that where there SO long that they had fungus junk growing on them.
I even offered to just take him, or pay full and NOT ever return him.
But NO.
