breeding plecos

i'm thinking of trying to breed plecos but not sure how......can someone tell me how to tell the sex of them and at what size they breed i think i want to try to breed gold nuggets since they are one of my favorites

I don't know about nuggets really but you should try and start with Bristlenose. It is really easy to tell the sex (The bristles on the nose) and then give them a good sized piece of PVC large enough that they can maneuver around in and then wait and have plenty of food they are really easy to breed. The number one cause of death for the young is actually starvation so they need a lot of food...

Also try a Coconut shell, they are also good for breeding.
