Picked these up yesterday. Somebody traded them in along with one that they said was twice as big as the largest of the two and it was sold for $20 the day before. I think the big one is male and smaller is female?

The way the heads curve from snout to begining of dorsal fin. But that is also why I put the ????????? just my guess.

What size do you think they are?
I can guess 4 inches without a ruler.:D

The big one is 6inch and the other is over 4. Thats measured with them sitting still in the tank.

At this size, it's pretty much impossible to tell the sexes as the height and slenderness of the fish changes a lot in the 7-10" range. The height and slender part is what is used to tell the sexes. Females are much taller and fatter then males. Males look very long and are quite cylindrical.
