I found this ad on CL and it says that he has two Large african catfish for sale. These are his picures not mine, so I can't help the quality. I'm wondering what they are, I assume he means the two on the bottom and not the ID or paroons or whatever.

look at the size of them compared to the stool, they must be 10-12" I'm thinking maybe some type of syno?

odd, the add even says "look very closely" and to add to the strangeness it says they must be gone by Monday February 2nd, it was listed today. well, near as I can tell monday is March 3rd.

hey i'm all for it, google maps puts it at just over 17 hours one way, now you'd have to buy the gas both ways for me. I drive an F-150, so these are going to be some expensive cats LMAO.
*good thing that Canadian dollar is doing so well now days.

get this when I asked him if he knew the breed or if he just got it under the name "african catfish" he told me he didn't think that I know anything about catfish and that he would rather I not adopt his fish. LMAO. Whatever....

yeah wtf? dont feel bad I've had a few craigslist retards tell me they won't let me adopt thier fish because my tanks sound "too overstocked". Yeah come test my water losers...anyway those look like marble cats to me as well of course those are some lousy pics.
I can't think of anything that comes from africa that looks like that.

i think it would be funny if you sent him an email describing the common catfish families from africa. namely mochokidae, Claroteidae, and (correct me if im wrong) Clariidae, and then describe how it cant be any of those families in those pictures. And then that way he knows exactly how little you know about catfish.....:ROFL:
