I've just gotten done painting drylok on my concrete board and I would really like to make them black using Krylon Fusion. What do you think? These will make up the sides of the tank. Substrate will be either a black sand or black gravel. Another thing to consider is that i will be running blue cold cathode or blue leds on the tank. what would you do?

I think you can have drylok tinted (just like paint). That would be easier / cheaper than a separate coat of paint.

Krylon is best used on plastics as well. Not for your purpose.

I thought about doing this, but i'm afraid this might compromise the drylok...

... what if the tint isnt non-toxic?

I didnt paint my dryloc but I think black on black like you describe will look good. I would contact UGL at 800-UGL-LABS and ask what paint they suggest.

i wonder if they know their product is being used in aquatics.
