Scotland
I live in Scotland (for those who do not know its that smaller country above England in Britain) and i was wondering if say i could buy fish over the net of course from like the places most of you guys live and or where you buy your fish if its not from a local fish shop and they would live?
Or am i too far away and it wouldn't be aloud?

To be honest i recon that it would first depend on the species of fish and plants that you are lookin to order, as long as they are not classed as invasive species by the UK& Scotland you should be ok.
Secondly, as long as you are willing to pay the expidited International shipping you should be ok.
Thirdly, you may have to assume some of the risk in the event of dead arrivals, as i know here in the US most shippers guarentee live arrival for next day delivery within the US and they might be hesitant to go international.
Finally, be sure that you are home to recieve the delivery!!!! you dont want your fish hanging out in a freezing FedEx or UPS depot for an additional day.
Good luck

Thanks for the advice man!
Any more?

Most likely you would have to pick up your shipment from the nearest international airport. I have imported fish before and it can be a hassel, but it is well worth it. You will have to get in touch with your wildlife regulaters and see what the laws are. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

If your bringing in fish from abroad, you'll need an import licence of DEFRA but it isnt too complicated if your after tropical fish.
