View Full Version : sting rays wont eat!

my sting rays are extremly active and the water is perfect i just newly aquired them and they are extremly active, i have tried feeder fish, shirmp, and earth worms, i will try black worms later today any suggestions?

how longhave you had them and when you tried the earth worms did u cut them up into pieces. whats the temp and water peramiters some rays take a while to get back to eating after being wild caught. what kind are they ... im assuming motoros or retrics but... let us know some more information

did you see them eating b4 you bought them? how long have they been n the shop?

Sounds like they are still stressed.. Its normal.. Thay will be eating in a few days.. :)

keep the tank dark and warm.... sometimes takes a few days sometimes a few weeks.... keep offering them food... post some pics too....

the sting rays were overnighted from a supplier for the store( i picked them up soon as they got there) and the water is at 82degrees constant and there is a constant current and plenty of air, i will post pictures later today, can somone please identify them for me as well thanks alot for the advice
