Hi,
I'm a loach fan, and just wanted to start a thread of loach pics. There is a thread for clown loaches, so pics of your clowns should go in that thread. But khulis, dojos, hillstreams, etc. are definently in.
I'll post some photos of my loaches when my camera starts working again.:irked:
Cheers,
LB
Sure..Here are my hillstream loaches. I just need to add more.
My kuhli loaches. I have 6 of these at the moment. Looking for more. I used to have a Pangio oblonga but lost it two years ago.

Are dojos the only cold water loach?
It depends what you are classing as 'cold water'. There are a few species that require lower temps than dojos, such that they are unable as of yet that I know, kept successfully such as Barbatula barbatula for example which requires around 15degrees c and lower at other times of the year.
There are several species of Sinibotia species that like the cooler temps-I keep mine around 22 degrees c, 24 in the summer.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y210/CSIcru/sinibotiasp.jpg
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y210/CSIcru/lgesinibotiaso.jpg
Some Schistura species are found in the cooler 20's, same with some of the hillstream loaches.
Although from the above species, not all are compatiable with one another eventhough temps overlap.
Few more loachie pic's :nilly:

On the other hand, what are they doing with the Exodon paradoxus? How long have they been together?
Great Kuhlis! BTW, what do you guys feed your loaches?
Plenty. Bloodworms, algae (for hillies), earthworms, tubifex worms, mosquito larva, shrimps, commercial foods, etc.

4 inches unless you are referring to the Pangio incognito which I believe is currently not available in the trade.

This is one I have never seen before I got it. It's one of the "Tiger Loaches"
Syncrossus Hymenophysa
We got them in as "Tiger Loaches". Usually when we get these, they are Syncrossus Helodes. It was nice to see something I haven't had come into the store.
