If i were to make a sump for a S/W aquarium what kind of pump could i use? Any that u can use in a F/W aquarium or does it have to be a different/special one for the saltwater?

You need to select a pump that's listed as being approved for SW use. Generally, these pumps contain stainless steel impeller shafts that can take exposure to high salinity environments.

i personaly love mag drives. they work great are not to expensive and are super easy to fix if something goes wrong. i could tell you how to fix one in like 4 sentences. i dont buy anything else.
