Here are a couple of pics of my mono. His color isn't too great in the pics, but they are just after he was released into the tank. He stayed up in the top corner for about an hour, then ended up eating 2 jumbo shrimp when I fed my arowanas.
I've always been fascinated with Cichla, but this is my first venture into actually owning a Peacock Bass, so I'm looking forward to the ride. :D
Any comments or tips from the vetrens will be appreciated.

wow, great specimen! I am surprised he didn't go on a hunger strike for lack of feeders. Very lucky!

LOL...I was surprised too. I got him from Sticky_Rice and the bass were eating shrimp for him so that definitley cuts out a lot of work for me...
...just the way I like it. :D

try taking some pics without the flash.. you tend to capture natural color a bit better..

Will do. Do you set your camera on a tripod? I notice that when I shut the flash off on my camera the pics tend to blur with the slightest movement.

Thanks everyone.
Pellets are the staple diet for this guy, but he's always in the mix with my arowanas to steal a little bit of shrimp from them. :D
