At fish INC where i work theres a 8x3x3 show tank with 5 massive stingrays, 4 girls and 1 boy and theres 2 pregnant at the mo, theres a big female constelarta, a big female black motoro(the biggest) a big female motoro, and apair of R005 Motoros the smallest they are am (pixazing enjoy

Are R005 and marbled motoros the same thing? I've noticed that people in the UK call them R005s and people in the US just call them marbled motoros

ALL Motoros over here are marbled..........
I guess we (Americans) could do the same as we do in the stereo world.......and ask the euros for guidance....lol.

No they call marbles over here R001, these are different
LOL.

Yeah it does....there's a few blokes over there that I spent a great deal of time talking with. Implemented a lot of thier ideas in my last build. After that build took the cake in 06 I assumed it was safe to say those guys really know thier SPL. CHEERS :headbang2

a marble is a marble never hurd of the numbers you are stateing
the aqualog book is ok but i never use the numbers nor does anyone else
this roo1 and r0xx what ever short nose rose thing you have stated in the past are new to me and most people hear have never hurd of them

Ive never heard of this R018 motoro either been looking at it thinking what on earth is that all about. As stated marble motoros are mable motoros. You dont need the R018 thing its odd. For some reason people seem to call my rays triple spot motoro (these probably have some number in an aqua log book) but all they are are nice motoros.

Those marbles look nice!
What exact species is the larger "white" ray? It looks alot like what they call guyana ray at my LFS which I have determined to be humerosa/orbygini. If they turn out as nice as that one I will have to scoop one up cause they are only $60!

AlexG, that tank is absolutely amazing!
I am still thinking that those rays are simply a humerosa or orbygini. Im starting to like them, especially their big eyes!

You might have your boss re-read the part about Constellata.. I have never seen one in captivity.
Looks like it could be Humerosa, Orbignyi, P. sp. Peru, or P. cf Yepezi..
i bought my mosiac as a constallata from jon rare awhile back
constallata from what i have read get huge and are known for haveing alot of denticles
anyway its a pretty ray still the price is funny though
