The green wolf eel is not the same fish as the wolf eel that you find off the west coast. The green wold eel isn't even an eel, it's a goby. Very cool fish though, I have a one a few times.

Where's your lion fish?

I still have him in quarantine, and i don't want to do anything to spook him, because he is still very sensitive at this stage. also sorry about my Groupers color. hes a little bit of a snob. He bit me the same night I fed him. He'll only turn completely white if hes in danger, and since hes the only one in there. Hes got nthi to worry about. or he'll turn white if I have to catch him in the net for some reason. The Green wolf eel was about 5 inches when I got her and now she's gotten up to about 10 inches, and she has only attempted escape once. but I was able to catch before she made it completely out. I got bit for that one too. little a$$holes. aslso wolf eels are black and Humungo, also there mean little ***s that should only be kept in big aquariums. also I really want to add a couple of flame angels and a magnificent foxface. is that okay to put in with my Green wolf?

A flame angel might not be the best choice, they don't get very large and likley would get eaten. A "pair" of flame angels probibly would fight with each other too, better to keep only one per aquarium typically.

Fox face would be fine if it was large enough, those dorsil spines are sharp and venonous. Most fish leave them alone.

What happened with your lion? Did it develop an additional problem? Parasite treatment is typically a 14 day process, should have been over it by now.

The green wolf is in a 75 all by himself, and the grouper is in a 55 by himself.
I know it has been a longtime and most treatments are only 14 days, but he is getting better. so I don't know. I treat him every 3 days now.

This is what I want to put in my 75.
1. Greenbird and a blackbird wrasse. ( male and female)
2. magnificent foxface.
3.flame angel( maybe)
4. Fumanchu lionfish
5. Queen angelfish

Is there any problems with that?

What are you using to treat the lion?

Rid-ich

That mixture of fish should be ok together, get a modest sized queen so you can enjoy it for a while. THat's one of my favorite fish.

Rid-Ick is not a great product (as your first hand witnessing) Most likley why the problem has not gone away.

Not to beat a dead horse but the copper & lower S.G. suggested originally would have solved the problem a while ago. If you want to give it a try, I'll walk you thru it if you like.

Double check the water quality if you have not already. A lion in a ten gallon could easily cause ammonia & nitrite issues. Ammonia & nitrite will harm your fish even at low levels.

As per your S.G (1.5.) I'm not sure what that value equals (typo per haps?) Did you mean 1.015? If so, that's a decent value for a quarentine.

If you want to try copper, do a large water change to dilute out the existing meds, buy Cuprimine from Sea Chem, buy a copper test like the one from aquarium systems "fast test" and maintain a copper value of .20 to .25 for two weeks. Assuming that the water quality is good in your quarentine system, this will correct the problem for you.

It;s a DOTTY BACK :D

Dottyback is a generic term for many of the Pseudochromis species. It is not a name used to discribe any of the fish discussed in this thread.
