of what type of cichla? signs of monos and ocellaris show around 6-7 inches but soem show both.... you should know if its a mono or ocellaris by 8-9 inches..... tmes and orinos you can tell what they are right away.... but not where its specifically from till its a bit bigger..( its wild caught origin)

PICTURE PLEAASSEEE!

With some types you can tell from the start. (temensis and orino)

Mono and ocellaris are impossible to ID at juvie stage. Like boosten said its around 5-6 inch.

no, no red eyes. like 2 or 3 vertical black bars (not sure they're at my buddies), with a horizontal stripe from the tail to the last bar. They are really skiddish around the cam. so its been difficult for that pic.

sometimes its that dark, but one is a lot lighter than the other and they are often changing brightness

If the stripe is from the last bar to the tail like you said it is more than likely a mono.

yes correct but if its on the gill plates all the way to its tail you have a temensis. also might be a slender looking fish.
