I've asked this before and the consenus seemed to say that it is very unlikely. After Me leaving the fish under my wife's unwatchful eye I come home to find that it happened!! I think. I found wriggllers in the tank. The mated paired which I purchased at auction as six 1" jds. And in a seperate auction as six 1" gts. Now what's left is three jds and 1 gt together in a 75. Temporary home until remodeling is done and the gt gets the 55 to himself and the jd stay in the 75. The pair is definitely 2 different species. Whetther they are a jd and a gt I don't know. Now I wonder if these fish were mislabeled. I will try to post some pics later today. Never posted pics before so hereis hoping for the best.
I will not sell or give away the offspring. I will probably just leave them in the community tank and see what happens. I guess I should finish the remodeling and repair the 150 thats been collecting dust for the last year sooner rather than later.

my 1st time with pics. The 1st one is the "jd" the second one is the "gt". You can see some of the fry in the 1st picture.

I'm a little upset about that gt being mislabeled. I guess that's why I was the only bidder on the bag marked as greeen terrors:cry:.

JD's, not a trace of Green Terror in either of them. At least you got a pair of possible different parent spawns. Less inbreeding that way. Keep them together and pull the other 2 out when the remodle is done, then you can raise up the fry without the mom n dad terrorizing their tankmates.

I guess I should learn how to identify fish better. And not bid on a item at auction without seeing the bag. I guess my only consilation is that the parents aren't brother and sister. Anyone know how to get rid of 1000's of jds I will have in the next couple of months.

no advice there. anyone can find them in just about any LFS for a couple bucks.
