I have a peacock eel that is getting beat up in my 150 so im moving it to the 55 as soon as the piranha goes. I want to replace it with a bigger eel and I looking at a fire eel. i'll get one at least 10-12" but im looking a the road ahead. I know nothing on their behavior, feeding habits and aggression. I have a number of african cichlids ranging from 2-6" and loaches (clowns, yoyos, and borders) ranging from 2-5" and a few snails. With this eel eventually eat or kill my other fish?

There no aggressive but are predatory and most likely will eat most of your cichlids they get atleast 36'' so will be able to eat all most all of your cichlids

they are great eels however they learn to recignize there owners and can be hand feed and even petted there very fun pets but get big
