which one pbass to by for odd ball tank

I am in the market for a pbass. I see there are several to choose from, but what is the difference really. the only one that looks different si the tem with the broken lines going through the body and the tail, other bass seem to look similar like the the ori, mono ,etc. Who gets the biggest and why is the ori seem to be the choice of collector vs the tem.

tems i belive get the biggest, each one has different patterns and color patterns. have you kept them b4, what size is your tank, if new to the pbass get some monos to start, they dont get very big and when they get bigger they get very nice colors of lime, green, red, and more.

If you've got the money, go with an Azul

Tems grow the biggest at a max size of 3 ft and all other peacock bass grow to about 2 ft max. If your gonna get pbass I'd get a pair you'll enjoy them more.

I have had one a long time ago, 2in not sure what type , LFS shop bought but he did not do very well, they seem to be really timid when small, and the cichlids he was housed with were not very good with him. Now I have a 300 gallon and looking to try a larger TEM at 7in with a couple of silver arrow, a clown knife, TSN. And I am lookig for an armatus and a nice stingray of some sort.

Get 2 or 3 of each, and see how they turn out. Orino's seem to grow the slowest, But look great when colored up

I dont want to steal this thread or anything, but what would be a minimum tank size for say, a pair/trio of mono pbass?

I'm getting a 4x2x2 tank soon and was just wondering how long they might possibly be able to live in there?
I've never kept pbass before.

Also since you live in florida isn't there a warm fresh water way were pbass are located for fishing or is it illigal to keep one from the water way's ? is it just c&r
