Wow!
What a beast.
I'd love to have a lung but it would soon outgrow a 4x2x2, wouldnt it?

Yeah I'd also like to know what he eats each week. I have a 60cm lungfisg called "Larry" who enjoys earthworms, snails, algae wafers, pellets and goldfish.
I feed it aprox a half tilapia filet each day (in the evening) or 8 or 9 prawns...
or +/- 20 pieces Sprot
in the morning I feed it a hand full of algae waffers..
I do +/- 100% waterchange each week (2x 50%)
Apart from that I leave it allone as much as possible.
Keep the temp up and constant and low light
It is getting really responsive when I enter the tank in the morning.
It kind of jumps up and swims to the place where I feed it.

Your lung fish is an absolutely amazing example of a incredible creature that survives on the earth.

thanx you guys...I have a small correction I messured it an hour ago and it is now only 1 cm away from 100 cm..so at this rate it will only take a week to reach the 1 mtr mark.

This one of my biggest dreams of consumption!
I believe that there is a copy of that in Brazil, LungFish only have the Dolloi and Annectens well and are still difficult to find, especially the Annectens.
Congratulations, your LungFish very beautiful! One of these days we have in Brazil ...
(Excuse my English, not speak fluently)
Greetings
Felipe.

Felipe I have been looking for a fish like this for aprox. 3 or 4 years..I placed an order and waited and waited and waited..than I got the wrong fish...in this case an Albino dolloi...than I finally got one...so my advice try to order one via an Importer. and have patients...you can also try to import one yourself via an American exporter .....goodluck.
Just shot some more pictures this time from the top...
the first one I took today the others are from day 1
