Should a dojo loach go in a big koi pond?

If the koi are large enough they can eat the dojos. if you have pond lilies and reeds or cattails for the dojos it should not be a problem though, dojos are quick.

i HIGHLY doubt that a koi would eat one

if the koi is big enough and the loach is small that loach is lunch sooner or later. ive seen a koi with two frog legs hanging out of its mouth and i dout Mr. ribbits got away :)

compare an 8" fish to a 30" fish. that's a BIG difference.

dojo loach are skinny, so it'll be like spaghetti (loach) and meatball (pellets).

They would do great in a bog as long as the pH is above 6 and below 8. They also do great in rice paddies. Oh I found a picture of one living with small gold fish and koi that were of similar length. The article said it and two others overwintered there under the ice.

Dojos are from cold water streams so as long as it doesn't completly freeze over I think they would be fine for the winter.
