I've been trying to breed angelfish for a long time. The problem is that my female beats my male to the point of death and then lays her eggs while leaving the male to die. The male never gets a chance to fertilize. The last time, my male was so beaten up, It lost almost its entire dorsal fin! I had to say up all night trying to keep it upright! The female is a normal angel, and the male is a veil. Any suggestions on how to get my male to not get beaten up and be able to fertilize the eggs would be appreciated.

A divider made of plastic lighting diffuser would work wonders for you female. Divide the tank in half. On the females side, place the spawning medium right next to the divider. You won't get 100% fertility, but you won't have a beat up male.
