It's 5", I posted the size wrong earlier in the photo thread.
So I heard if you keep them in warmer water (80-82) they are more active.. anyone know if there is any truth to that?
It's in a temp 29 gallon while I set up it's 50 breeder, anyway.. just wanted to share :D

Yes, warmer water will make them a little more active...for the most part. But regardless wolves are nocturnal so he'll be most active when the lights are off...then he'll go into killer mode. What is his diet like...?

Well I just got him yesterday but he took some shrimp when the lights were off last night. His diet will mainly consist of shrimp, night crawlers and the occasional feeder / beef heart.

You should also throw in fish filets, they can be cut into pieces and frozen. I think he'd like those as well.

He's a hungry little guy.. the first night it ate but not in front of me.. ever since it comes out for the food as soon as it can see it.
I moved it to the 50 breeder today (48x18x13) which should be a good tank for it for a long time to come. :D

The commons get a little bit bigger than 20in. I would say the max tank size for an adult is a 125g.

i think you mean minimum.
anything with a 2 feet width and 4 plus feet length is fine.
they dont move much.
but of course,bigger is better.
