Always leave some laundry in the basket!

Yesterday I went to open a drawer next to a discus tank. I saw a little movement in the corner of my eye and heard a little splash. Too little to pay attention to.

Good that I did! My biggest discus, the most popular of all my fish, was in the laundry basket on the floor. My movement must have scared him and he happened to jump exactly through the feed-opening in the hood.

I considered putting the idiot through a wash cycle but he looked too cute resting peacefully and comfortably in a pile of dirty laundry.
