Thanks . I wish I had a huge tank or huge pond for a pair the colors are real nice .

I guess it was just a matter of going in area they are in and going during day . I figured out few weeks ago I was waisting my time fishing at night they dont strike than .
I wont bother them now as think they are spawning but in few months will fish again.

flagfish will be my next catch with net in Everglades .

Great catch looks a lot like the mono I have.

I wish I had my own big pond I would stock it with them they are real pretty fish.
They are now guarding eggs in my area so wont fish in PB areas till eggs hatch .
I read as babies very delicate suprised how they love water so warm that its warm to step in

Wish I can fizh 4 P-BASS:( nice catch!

I am new to fishing as didnt truly fish much till moved here but overall lb per lb they are weak fighters . Other types of bass at smaller size fight harder and Jag cichlid 1/3 size blows them away .

if you catch big large/small mouth bass than you have had more of a fight than peacock bass unless its a monster peacock but as a whole overrated fighting fish but seem very aggressive and attack other fish that dare swim near them.

great catch! i went to snapper creek and caught a few but they were all nesting so i felt bad and sorta left them alone. they nested there the entire summer.
