Evening all.

Im staying in a hotel in france on business, and they have a 10 foot tank in reception with big gold fish.

Was having a little look at the big orange dullarda when i spotted the biggest clown loach ive ever seen. easily a good 10", playing dead behind the heater.

Will grab a photo in morning.

Either way, they clearly dont know what they have... and i was thinking of making them an offer they couldn't refuse.

Think its possible to get a fish posted back to the UK safely?

Im leaving on friday, so let us know.:nilly:

Cheers
Craggy

How are you getting back yourself? If driving why not get your hands on a polybox and put him in that for the trip?

Right then.

Spoken to the guy who owns the tank (well, inherited it when he bought the hotel 6 years ago). he thinks hes got a "nemo" lol gotta love ignorance.

Either way, he absolutely loves this fish, and fair play to him. Guess i'll just have to man up and buy myself a shoal and grow some monster clowns when i get back home. :(

But, my fellow MFKers, enjoy. (only have my camera phone on me im afraid... will try harder next time)

Afraid in the south of france, its warm water or nothing. :) Since coming back ive been lulled into buying some yoyos and some burmesse boarder loaches. Seems ive been bitten by the bug :)

Gorgeous clown! How huge!!!
Shame about the ignorance though. Any idiot knows Nemo lives under the sea so why he thought he could keep it in freshwater I'll never know..
