It's about time we have another meet. I missed the last one. I was thinking we could go visit MTN Pike's fish room (lots of Crenicichla). I'll have to clear it with him first, but just wanted to see if there was any interest and a time frame to do it. I was thinking some weekend in June. Who's interested and does anyone have a weekend in June they can't do or a day on the weekend that doesn't work for them?

I am flexible either day of the weekend. Those are my most open days. I'm in for the meet, I think it will be very cool to meet everyone.

Sounds good to me. I can get pretty much any weekend day off. Whatever works for everyone else:)
I go on vacation on June 24. I could do a Saturday.
Oh, and where is pikes fish room.

I talked to Jon and he said June will work. We may have to limit the number of people, though...sorry. IDK how many yet.
It's somewhere around Lafayette. I will PM the exact location when I get more details.

It will be a blast for those who get to go!! :D Just make sure you ask first before taking pictures! LoL!!! Thats probably the best time to go too, they are getting all their fish 'pretty' right now...;)

We're going to do this the second weekend in June. I am going to compile a list and let him know how many people this weekend. We'll go for Saturday, I guess, around noon. Does that work? Here's my list so far:

It was just brought to my attention that the second sunday in June is Father's Day. I have no problem doing it on Saturday, but if there's a problem, we will put it back a week.

Sounds cool man! Jealous am I!! Would love to meet up with you guys, swap fish, and see Jon and Dan again! Sucks being in a state where it seems like your the only fish keeper...lol.

For sure! I am looking forward to checking out those fish, as well as seeing everyone. It's gonna be a fish-filled weekend. I am going to the Downtown Aquarium with the wife and daughter on Father's Day.

Dang, wish I could make it. Definately going to be a treat ya'll!!! They will woo you with all their lavish amounts of CA/SA cichlids. I particularly LOVE their Crenicichla selection. Was hard to leave last time I was there...lol

Well, guys, it looks like I can't make this one anymore:(. I am going through an application process, and they scheduled me for a psych evaluation on Tuesday to see if I'm :screwy:. I hope I pass it:ROFL:
Anyways, I had to switch my work schedule around. It is good to hear there may be another one in July.

I must apologize, but I will no longer be able to attend tomorrow's meeting. Got some plumbing problems that need some attention before things get worse. Thank you anyway. Special thanks to MTN Pike et al and the PWMIN for putting together the meeting. But I look forward to the next meeting.

such great hosts, we thank you both for your hospitality,
you guys have some good looking fishes.
I look forward to hearing how you do at the ACA this year.
I'm sure you'll come back winners again.

We started a list of linking real names with screen names, but it's pretty short and most people either put their name in their sig or are easy to figure out. I'm going to put my name in my sig from now on and it would make it easier if others did the same. I'm looking forward to the next meet. I got a couple phone numbers on the list here, but I won't post them. If anyone wants anyone's number, just PM them unless you think I should PM everyone that was there the list.
